
The ideal of any economy is to maintain the value of its currency. While other countries suffer the depreciation of their currencies (eg. the Argentine peso, the dollar against the euro), the Peruvian currency has strengthened. The issuing entity according to their reports in 2008 has injected more liquidity into the economy due to growth of GDP.
