So today, I did a city tour through the city of Santiago where I could appreciate many of the known landmarks of the city, the day started at 8:30 in the morning when I went to look for the hotel, went up to the mike and OH! surprise, I found many Brazilians, who to be honest, I do not monopolize a lot, but hey I like I have no problem in not talking to anyone, I did not have much drama, and so began a little journey.
After passing through several hotels in the city looking for different people (all Brazil) started the city tour, which visited the Mint, the Cathedral, Central Market, and a hill that is known (the truth is relevant to the hill in my opinion) but it was nice to ride. Take plenty of photos which I will upload to my facebook so that people can see and possibly up to a virtual album.
Beyond that, I must admit that I really like James, and to live here if I have the option, during the course of the tour the guide told us a little economic and social situation of the country, but I liked the way the country treats divorced and how to help single women with subsidies.
economic level the guide described Chile as a country of "opportunities" in which problems do not get when working visas, not hinder, but best of all, if one has to pay and pay particular their taxes in a timely manner, the state returns to 50% of them. Social
level policy explains a little municipalities have not seen him more important, but what if the subject interested me was of the presidency. Here the chairs are treated as a citizen but, once in office give no place to live, no private plane and gain a common ground as any worker (obviously that is commensurate with the job and the job is not?), But I loved that they themselves have to pay your home, or rent and when they do travel alone military aircraft such state. Judges here to be judge must have over 20 year career in law, therefore the majority are older people who spend 50 years in conclusion: ARE HARD TO LAW. And the punishment also, here are what they call SPEARS (Punga Fruit for Argentines) and there is no theft at gunpoint. One thing to note was that I saw a truck ARMADA SECURITY NO flow, a sign that it is true that no stolen at gunpoint.
Another thing to note is that when you get to a street corner to cross STOP ALL CARS!, ALL and people do not look at the sides to cross, and simply send the cars brake! and if they do not stop because it's wet or something playing HORN TO DIE! and 100 meters before!. The vehicle is brand new, all Asian car brands Hyundai, Mazda, Suzuki, and that's because here in Chile do not have car factories and assembly points for that as well as low price of the cars (Toyota Corolla 22 000 U $ D if you do not hear no evil) and all imported products less than $ D 1000U no taxes added! or can be buy cheap clothes and household appliances also in certain places (whether for those who know me, and I was watching demases cameras and products).
Well that was a little glimpse of what I did today, tomorrow I expect Valle Nevado, where Ski track etc but I do, because these things are expensive and I'm lazy pay more for just a Ski hours, because that 1 day only, I DO NOT COME je.
Another thing I forgot to tell was that I had the opportunity to see the change of guard at Mint, a film which will soon be uploading video to youtube pa people to see! this cute
big hug and thanks for reading them fails a subject according to my day today (which I'm still looking) --------------------------------------------
